Its been a while since many of you have seen me. You might remember me as being the culprit behind such great server issues like this, or even error pages like this. While I know I have had a history of being a little unruly, this year I made a pledge to myself and my Grooveshark family to be a lot more helpful. It is my new year’s resolution to aid and ensure that I am only helping the greater good of music and not my appetite. I hope you all look forward to my future as the most helpful Panda on the web.

In case you hadn’t heard, our previous winter sale over at the Grooveshark Merch Store ended last week! Tons of folks got Grooveshark Anywhere and some sweet Grooveshark shirts—and one gal even won a jailbroken iPad with the Grooveshark iOS app preloaded!
As sad as I am for the deal to end, we’ve got something even cooler now: we’re selling each Pickles the Panda t-shirt with a full year of Grooveshark Anywhere. On top of that, we’re giving proceeds from each Pickles shirt to one of our favorite charities, Pandas International.
For every shirt sold, we’re going to donate $2 to help buy food, medical equipment, and help birth new pandas all around the world. That means that for $20, you get an awesome Pickles the Panda shirt, a free year of Grooveshark Anywhere, and tons of good karma for helping everyone’s favorite endangered species.
Most of you are familiar with Pickles the Panda—that nefarious mammal who is always causing trouble with our servers.
Rumors have surfaced from the east that he has been seen training a few clicks from here—a new Pickles, strengthened by the rubber chewed off of wires and hardened by his hunger for interns.
When will Pickles return?
We know we’ve had trouble this week, and for that we’re really sorry! Between not loading, giving stream errors, and unexpected downtime we really feel like jerks.
But fret not—we are working very, very hard to make the problems go away. Just a few moments ago, we realized Pickles the Panda was throwing a dance party in our server room, which caused most of the issues so far!
