The album’s stand-out track “You Know Me,” has soared to the top of the Hype Machine in 2012 and the Grooveshark team is happy to present their new video to our Sharks. C A V E S & House Parties
We all know that good music is the key to a great house party, however, good live music is the key to an unforgettable house party. Singer-songwriter Tristen has created a Kickstarter campaign to fund her second album, C A V E S, on a new independent label. The Grooveshark team thought this was an awesome project and have decided to share this campaign with our sharks. With prizes ranging from a $1 track download to an entire live show at your next soiree, Tristen is making sure her backers are getting their contributions worth.

At Grooveshark, we love to see people using the power of the internet for social action. A few tech advocates from around the nation have gathered together to create a petition they believe will protect the rights of cell phone owners and cellular data consumers. As of January of this year, it became illegal to unlock new cellphones, however, these advocates are working to make sure this legislation is revoked. These protesters have created a White House Petition to repeal this new law and have already gathered over 80,000 signatures in support of their cause. The New Album from Dog + Panther
There are few things that get us as excited as the release of a new album, so it goes without saying that when Dog + Panther gave us an exclusvie of their new record, Our Bodies, it took a lot to keep us from squealing like a 9-year old on their way to Disney. Reminsicient of Death Cab, Matt Pond PA, and some of our favorite bands from the ’00s, Our Bodies serves up some good old fashioned indie-rock. Marrying acoustic guitars, beautiful falsettos, and hallucinogenic melodies, this is the perfect album to play in the background on your most melancholy days.
