    FYF Fest Tickets!

    Last week we started a promo to give away tickets to Moogfest, and we didn’t want this week to go unnoticed. We teamed up with the alt bros over at FYF Fest to give away two sets of two tickets for this Saturday, September 4th! We aren’t rich enough to pay for airfare unfortunately, so be sure to live within travelable distance of L.A. — and post a drawing of a (Groove)shark in the comments to enter!

    Moogfest Tickets for Free!

    A couple weeks ago I mentioned Moogfest, happening in Asheville, North Carolina this coming October. It has a great line-up, with MGMT, Massive Attack, Big Boi and tons more awesome artists. But even awesomer: the folks behind the festival had a potluck dinner with us, and we decided to give away 5 pairs of tickets (10 total) to Moogfest to you guys—for free.

    Just pull up your webcam and take a short video telling me your Grooveshark username and why you would be the happiest person in the world if you got 2 tickets to go! Be fun, we’re looking for creativity!

    Moogfest Fun!

    Asheville, North Carolina is well-known for having an awesome music scene. I first saw The Decemberists there in 2004 at the near-legendary venue the Orange Peel with fellow future-shark Jack. MoogFest is no exception to this legacy. 

    Happening this year in late October, Moogfest is exemplary of Asheville music—and Grooveshark will be there in full force!

    Not only will we be presenting “How to Maximize Streaming Music Services to Promote Your Music”, but we’re also going to be giving away 10 free tickets to you guys—I’ll post more details on this next week, but if you just can’t wait, tickets for MoogFest go on sale tomorrow.  Come visit the sharks!
