At Grooveshark, we love to see people using the power of the internet for social action. A few tech advocates from around the nation have gathered together to create a petition they believe will protect the rights of cell phone owners and cellular data consumers.  As of January of this year, it became illegal to unlock new cellphones, however, these advocates are working to make sure this legislation is revoked. These protesters have created a White House Petition to repeal this new law and have already gathered over 80,000 signatures in support of their cause. If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, check out their petition and have your voice be heard. For more information contact Derek Khanna via Twitter @dkhanna11
