A few of you have noticed some changes to Grooveshark flickering on and off over the past couple of days. Well, they’re here! To keep it short, here’s what’s new:
- Genre radio stations are now more prominent, featured in their own section on the left sidebar.
- My Music now clearly houses your Favorites and a quicklink to all your Playlists.
- Playlists on the left sidebar are now broken up between playlists you’ve made (in blue) and playlists you subscribe to made by other users (in black).
- You can also customize specifically which playlists you want linked on the sidebar, so you’ll always have quickest access to the ones you love the most.
Suggested Search tries to predict what band you’re looking for, showing a few close suggestions—making it easier for you to find the artist you want.
And perhaps most importantly, we’ve added Feeds of the music activity of your friends. By clicking on Community, you can see what songs and bands your friends are obsessed with, what tunes your friends are sharing with each other, and whenever new playlists are made or edited. We’ve even added Facebook Connect, so you can sync up which of your Facebook friends are also on Grooveshark.
And each user has a profile page showing off all their recent music activity!
